Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our furniture design, custom manufacturing, international exports, materials, and trade partnerships.
What types of projects does the FELTORA studio take on?
The studio supports seasonal range planning, wool felt collection development, trade and bulk requirements, retail and gifting enquiries, custom characters and private label projects. Buyers can start from the collection, a reference image or a new idea, each reviewed around design, felt, quantity and season.
Do you offer custom felt development?
Custom requirements can be reviewed where an existing collection piece does not meet the brief. Share the character, size, colours, felt preference, quantity and reference so the development options can be confirmed before sampling.
Which felt décor products do you make?
FELTORA’s current range spans Christmas hanging ornaments, baubles, animal figures, garlands, stockings, tree skirts, wreaths, Easter and Halloween décor, felt balls, pom pom garlands, floral stems, tabletop pieces, nursery décor and wool home goods such as dryer balls, baskets, bowls, coasters and seat pads for year-round selling.
What is your minimum order quantity?
MOQ is confirmed according to the design, quantity, felt and any customization involved. A stock ornament, a detailed wired figure and a large wreath have very different production needs, so the minimum for each item is stated clearly in your quote.
Do you provide samples before a larger order?
Sample requests can be discussed for selected designs and qualifying commercial enquiries. Samples are useful for checking size, colour, softness, stitching and overall character before you place a larger seasonal order.
What felts and trims can be selected?
The FELTORA range is made from wool felt, with polyester and recycled PET felt for selected custom projects. Trims like embroidery, beads, bells, ribbon and wire are chosen per design and confirmed in writing.
What are your lead times?
Lead times depend on the selected designs, quantities, availability, customization, felt, sampling and destination. FELTORA confirms a lead time in each quote, so plan seasonal orders early and share the date your stock needs to arrive in store.
Which countries do you export to?
FELTORA welcomes trade enquiries from buyers around the world. Include your destination country when you enquire, and the available shipping options, commercial terms and delivery responsibilities for that market will be confirmed before any order is placed or paid for.
How do you maintain consistency in handmade felt?
Consistency begins with an approved sample and clear expectations for felt, size, colours, form and trims. Handmade felt will still show small differences in expression, stitching and texture from piece to piece. Those differences are part of what makes it handmade, while size, colour and construction should stay consistent with the approved sample across the order.
Who can apply to become a FELTORA trade partner?
FELTORA trade enquiries suit retailers, wholesalers, gift shops, Christmas stores, garden centres, museum shops, online sellers, gifting teams, stylists, importers and commercial buyers sourcing handmade felt décor for resale or gifting.
How does the trade order process work?
Start by sharing the collections or designs you need, your estimated quantity, destination and the date your stock must arrive in store. FELTORA then confirms the product details, sample availability, commercial terms, lead time, packing and shipping arrangements in writing, so you can review and approve everything before production begins.
